CONJUNCTION
Skyward views through autumn leaves. Behind them, the universe. A note resounds and smooths the eternal course of time. Breathe in, breathe out, expire and start again. Birds fluttering like a true wink to the earthly, on this side of the spheres where the speed of light sets the pace. And in between, streetlamps with operatic airs, which on the one hand serve as support like monumental anchors and on the other, like telescopes, make contact with cosmic realities. They allow us to perceive the rhythms of transcendence: to look God in the eye! He is way out there. Even the zeros and ones of the digital domain fit into his cosmic quantum dance. War and peace become in it reconciled forces of the real. They come and go, echoes of what has always been. The composer Oriol Cruixent creates a journey through time in cyclical contemplation. The artist Ilja Mlosch condenses branches and clouds into paintings in which space folds in time.
